Morteza Momayez (1935–2005)
Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art
1977, Offset, 98x61 cm
This rare poster by Morteza
Momayez was designed for the
inauguration of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art in 1977. The museum architecture, reproduced in the poster collage, was designed by Iranian architect Kamran Diba (born 1937, residing in Paris), who employed elements from traditional Persian architecture. The museum itself looks like a piece of contemporary sculpture art.
