The works of Jahed Sarboland are a direct reference to the subversion that emerges in all ideologiesâ€.‬ Ideology does not reflect actual relationsâ€. ‬The dark room of ideology
is a reflection of the bewitched world that distances people from realityâ€. ‬Knowledge stands asideâ€,‬ and an illusion based on an illusion becomes its substituteâ€. ‬The work of the artist reveals the subversion of valuesâ€, ‬and insists on the fact that art does not reflect reality like a mirrorâ€. ‬He tries to exhibit the metamorphosed faces of people around himâ€. ‬The poster plane is covered by falling lettersâ€, ‬leaving drawn visible tracesâ€. ‬The letters are transformed into wounded and bleeding objectsâ€.‬
The title of the exhibition is derived from the novel Brave New Worldâ€,‬ written by Aldous Huxley and published in 1932â€. ‬In the bookâ€,‬ the symbol venerated in place of the Christian cross is the†"‬Tâ€"‬ signâ€, ‬in homage to Henry Ford who introduced mass production of automobiles with the Model Tâ€.
The science-fiction imagery anticipates
practices of reproductive technologyâ€, ‬sleep-learning and psychological manipulationâ€,‬
used in the technically developed consumer society manipulated by a dictatorshipâ€. ‬The paintings of Jahed Sarboland are a direct reference to the bookâ€, ‬depicting characters of "‬Tâ€" ‬menâ€.‬
