The poster announces an

international colloquium held at

Strasbourg University on the iconic

Iranian poet‭, ‬Molavī‭ ‬or Mowlānā‭,‬

commonly called Rumi in English‭.‬

Abedini designed a male silhouette

with an ancient hat called a‭ '‬taj‭',‬

known from Persian miniature

painting and art book illuminations‭.‬

The 'taj' consists of a skullcap shaped

base surmounted by a pleated column‭, ‬with a turban wrapped over it‭. ‬The male silhouette is decorated by red figurative motifs known from

Persian medieval miniatures and

illustrated manuscripts‭.‬
